  Solved: A few days ago while viewing Acrobat Pro X abruptly disappeared. Since then, it will no longer start under any circumstance. Hi All,Adobe has provided a hotfix to resolve this issue permanently. Kindly follow Solution 2 mentioned at. After setting defaults for PDFs in Windows settings, launch Adobe Pro. Go to Edit, Preferences, General and scroll down to "Default PDF Handler." Change that.
